Getting started
Secure a compatible iPhone or iPad horizontally beside the TV. Choose Start Exploring, select a region and level, then follow the system camera connection prompts. Check the preview and use left/right to switch available cameras. Keep your hands visible and your play area clear, then confirm to play.
Compatibility
Requires Apple TV 4K (2nd generation+) with tvOS 17+ and a compatible iPhone/iPad with iOS/iPadOS 17+. An OS update alone does not make every device compatible. The remote controls menus, pause and back, not the gameplay hand cursors.
Missing camera or interrupted video
Keep the camera device nearby and follow its connection prompts. Check that it is powered on and its camera is available; check local wireless connectivity. Return to camera preparation and confirm to reconnect or select a camera. If permission was denied, review camera access in Apple TV settings.
Hand tracking
Use even lighting, avoid strong backlighting, keep your whole hand in view, and move back if necessary. Avoid overlapping hands. Sensitivity is adjustable in Settings.
Saved progress
Scores, discoveries and settings are stored locally without cross-device sync. Avoid uninstalling as a first troubleshooting step because local progress may be lost.
Contact
Include the app version, device models, OS versions and steps to reproduce. Photos of children or camera recordings are not needed.
Purchases and restore
Sunny Shallows includes 5 free levels. One Full Ocean Unlock purchase opens the other three regions (15 levels); it is not a subscription. Open Settings > Purchases & Restore to see the local price or restore an existing purchase. Use the App Store account used to buy it. Ask to Buy orders remain locked until approval is completed.
Restoring purchases restores content access, not deleted local scores or discoveries.
